Important Update: Slow Loading Speed on Photolus.com

Slow loading Photolus.com (tot 29 november 2025)

Dear visitor,

You’ve probably noticed that Photolus.com is currently loading more slowly than you’re used to from us – especially on mobile phones and tablets, it can unfortunately feel really sluggish. This is not our choice and is not the result of any changes we’ve made to the website. Nevertheless, some unexpected issues have suddenly arisen with the theme, particularly for visitors who are not logged in. We’re still trying to figure out exactly where this came from, and the fix isn’t straightforward. We’re working hard to resolve it, but as mentioned, it’s quite a tangle.

Our hosting provider, Hostinger, is currently carrying out major technical maintenance at the server level. These unforeseen works are directly affecting the loading speed of all websites hosted with them, including Photolus.com. Hostinger did not inform us in advance, so this came as a complete surprise to us as well.

According to the latest information from Hostinger, these maintenance activities will continue until 29 November 2025. After that date, everything should be back to normal speed.
